Tom has over 25 years of military, law enforcement, and private investigative experience. During Tom’s military tenure he was honorably discharged at the rank of sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Tom was a paratrooper and forward observer with ANGLICO (Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company) and is a decorated combat veteran. He was awarded the Naval Commendation Medal with combat “V” while serving as a member of FCT (Fire Control Team) Wild Eagle 25 during Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Tom was responsible for training forward observers in the United States Army and allied forces while overseas in Thailand utilizing calls for fire with Naval Gunfire and various types of combat aircraft.
As a law enforcement officer Tom worked as a patrol officer, FTO (Field Training Officer), defense tactic instructor, and S.W.A.T. (Specializing in Explosive Breaches). He has investigated thousands of crimes, ranging from public intoxication to murder. Having testified in numerous court proceedings Tom has been Voir Dire as a drug recognition expert and received numerous letters of commendation from the Deputy District Attorney’s Office for his testimony, thorough investigations, and ability in writing police reports.
After transitioning from law enforcement to the private sector, Tom obtained his private investigator's license (High Wire Investigations) and began putting his comprehensive skill set to work conducting criminal defense investigations. While working with several criminal defense attorneys in the greater Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties he quickly obtained a high success rate in getting criminal cases; dismissed, reduced, and/or not guilty trial verdicts in both State and Federal Courts. Tom's ability to conduct complete and thorough criminal defense investigations allowed him to make a smooth transition in conducting civil investigations. He has obtained a high success rate in investigating cases involving; cheating spouse and infidelity, missing persons, surveillance and sub-rosa investigations, background searches, employment and pre-employment investigations, skip tracing, asset searches, and worker's compensation fraud investigations.
